Work Experience
Art Department Lead
I manage day-to-day activities of the art department while working with production artists to create mock-ups for customers as well as customizing artwork for clients’ shirt designs. I also maintain the company website, adding and editing products and dealers. As a result of my drive to improve policies of production, the department has become much more organized and efficient, churning out more orders per day.
Digital Production Artist
As a Digital Production Artist, I worked both independently and as a team to create visual presentations and mock-ups of garment designs for clients such as Coors and Warner Bros. I customized designs, prepared seps for silkscreening, maintained the company web site and laid out catalog spreads. My ideas for improving the department led to my promotion to Art Department Lead.
Consultant, Software Instructor
Assisted guests in computer labs with software and hardware troubleshooting. Also taught many software workshops, including HTML, Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, and digital editing. Consultant of the year, 2007.
Graphic Designer
Worked with clients to strike a common vision and negotiated with other designers’ opinions, resulting in laying out a permanent sign to be placed at UCSB campus lagoon.
